A compliant tool for France does not have to be in French. Among the seven solutions compared by FactureMatch, some offer an English interface, some translate customer documents only, and some work in French with the help of an accountant. This guide states, for each tool, what the publishers' documentation showed when we checked it, and how the links on this page are financed. Three languages to check, not one
A tool can print an invoice in English and still run entirely in French. FactureMatch therefore distinguishes the language of the workspace, the language of the documents sent to your customers and the language of support. Only the first one decides whether you can use the software day to day without a translator; the second matters when you invoice international customers; the third counts when something goes wrong.

Start from what the software must do
Once the language is settled, the useful question is the job the tool must do well. The pairings below follow the categories used in the French comparison; the matcher on the English home page refines them with five questions.

Before subscribing
Five checks avoid most bad surprises. None of them requires reading French if your accountant helps with the last two.
- Check the tool, or the platform it relies on, in the official registry (registre des plateformes agréées).
- Open a trial and switch the interface to English yourself; a translated marketing page proves nothing.
- Confirm that e-reporting (e-reporting) is included in the plan you intend to use.
- Ask your chartered accountant (expert-comptable) which exports and which access they need.
- Compare monthly and annual prices on the publisher's page; the amounts quoted here were recorded on the dates shown in the French fact sheets.

Which of these tools offer a full English interface?
According to the documentation we read, Qonto, Odoo and Pennylane offer an English interface; Axonaut translates customer documents. Indy, Tiime and Obat work in French.
Is a free plan enough for a micro-entrepreneur (micro-entrepreneur)?
Often, yes, for receiving and issuing e-invoices. The free offers have limits on volume, users and accounting features, listed in French on the page of free plans.
Are the links on this page partner links?

Can my accountant access the tool?
Most tools listed offer an access for the accounting firm; Tiime and Obat include a free access. Ask your accountant which exports they use before choosing.
Does an English interface mean the tool follows UK or US rules?
No. These tools apply the French rules; English is only the language of the workspace. Check the French setup with the publisher and your accountant.
